Required for all newly promoted supervisors, this course teaches the basics for making the transition from line oàcer to supervisor. Upon completion of the class, students will be able to set up and manage a counseling session and be able to recognize the major symptoms of burnout in their employees. Students will also be able to identify the basics of social skills and be able to function eßectively by applying those skills in any type of setting either on or oß duty.
