CTCOG Participates in “Excellence in Education” Conference

On Tuesday, August 18, 2015, the CTCOG Planning & Regional Services team participated in the 6th Annual Excellence in Education Conference hosted by Temple, Texas Independent School District. Over 1200 TISD employees attended the one-day event full of work sessions taught by faculty and staff. During the breaks, the attendees visited various vendors showcasing educational tools and spirit boosting gear, as well as money and life-management services.

Cheryl Maxwell and Cassie Graham represented CTCOG and demonstrated the various educational tools we have to assist teachers teach their environmental lessons on resource conservation, air quality, ozone levels, and how contaminants enter our waterways.
