CTCOG FY2017 CJD Grant Writing Workshops

The time has come again for a new Fiscal Year, and with it new funding opportunities from the Office Of the Texas Governor’s Criminal Justice Division.

Please note that due to an unforeseen issue at the State level, the Requests For Applications (RFAs) for CJD grants that were supposed to post on the eGrants website have been delayed until December 30, 2015.

In the meantime, CJD has posted Funding Announcements regarding the following programs:

  • General Victim Assistance – Direct Services Program (VOCA)
  • Violent Crimes Against Women Criminal Justice and Training Projects (VAWA)
  • Juvenile Services Projects (JJDP)
  • Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG)

Once the RFAs post for these grant categories on December 30th, the turn in deadline for applications will be NLT February 26, 2016 at 5:00pm.

If you are submitting an application to CJD for any of the above grants, be aware that grant workshop attendance is MANDATORY!

You need only attend one of the four workshops offered by the Central Texas Council Of Governments Criminal Justice Division.

Our workshop dates and times this year will be:

Friday, January 8, 2016 8am-noon, CTCOG Conference Room D8
