Discover Central Texas Tourism Brand and Website Project

As part of the DDCT’s 2022-26 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), an Action Plan Matrix containing various goals, objectives, and strategies for bolstering economic development in the region. One such strategy was to develop a regional tourism website and marketing strategy promoting area destinations, downtowns, and outdoors assets. CTCOG contracted with a marketing consultant, RGVision, to work for four months developing a brand, tourism website, and additional marketing material for our Central Texas region. This included collection of photo/video of sites around the seven Counties taken by RGVision and submitted by localities, the creation of a promotional video for the region, as well as a “Discover Central Texas” website that allows users to browse events, restaurants, historical sites, and other notable venues across Cities. Three stakeholder meetings were held with City, EDC, and Chamber representatives across the region to receive feedback on site selection for shoots, website design, and the promotional video.
