Required to perform TCIC/TLETS functions – please register only for the certificate needed:

Operators must receive this training within the first six months of assignment or employment, regardless of whether these duties are performed on a full-time or part-time basis.  In order to comply with federal requirements, operators must recertify within two years of certification or most recent recertification date.

Feb 10th Mobile Access (TCOLE #4800 – 8 hours):

This in-person course is designed for users who perform TCIC/NCIC functions. TLETS training covers databases such as driver license, vehicle registration, and Financial Responsibility Verification Program (FRVP). In conjunction with TLETS databases, the training provides law enforcement with the procedural knowledge to query records and access Criminal History Record Information (CHRI).  This course requires the TCIC/TLETS Mobile Access Manual. Users must recertify every two years.

 

Feb 11th TAC – Terminal Agency Coordinator (TCOLE #3814 – 8 hours):

This course is designed for personnel assigned as Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC) and anyone who may be assigned duties to assist the TAC. This course covers recently implemented database files and current policy and procedures, audit, quality control and training. It is recommended personnel attend this course within the first six months from the date of appointment or assignment. This course requires the TCIC/TLETS Terminal Agency Coordinator Manual. No recertification required.

 

Feb 12th ATR – Associate Trainer Recertification (TCOLE #4805 – 8 hours):

This in-person course is designed for current Associate Trainers. Attendees review current TCIC/NCIC policy and procedures. This course will cover legislative updates, where applicable, and enhancements to new and existing files. This course requires the use of the TCIC/TLETS Associate Trainer Manual. All Associate Trainers must recertify every two years.
