Housing Assistance

In order to facilitate the paperwork process, the Housing Assistance Division has posted the following forms.

• Change form
  To be completed if there are any changes in information
• Disability Verification Form
  To be completed by a knowledgeable professional.  Do not include the disability or diagnosis.
• VAWA Form
  Please fill this out and provide supporting documentation, like police reports, letter from a victim’s shelter.
• Documentation Verification Guide – Two Pages
• Applicant/Tenant Release and Consent
  To be completed if there are any changes in information

 

Forms may be:

• dropped off at 2180 N Main Street, Belton TX 76513
• mailed to PO BOX 729, Belton, TX 76513
• emailed to intake@ctcog.org.  The email MUST contain a PDF attachment only, or it will be rejected.  Additionally, it must be legible, taken on a flat surface with adequate lighting.

 

Basic Application Process:

• Applicant fills out the pre-application to join the Waiting List (**This is currently closed)
• When we get to the applicant’s name on the Waiting List, we will send an Appointment Letter and Application in the mail via USPS. (Please make sure to keep your contact information current with us.)
• The applicant brings all the required documents to the appointment
• We process the application and determine approval or denial
• If approved, the applicant will receive a letter for a Voucher Briefing Appointment.
• At the Voucher Briefing Appointment, the applicant will learn about the program and details specific to the CTCOG Housing Division and receive the voucher.
• The applicant must find a unit that accepts Section 8 and return the required paperwork.
