The Copperas Cove Solid Waste Department will host the annual City Wide Spring Clean-Up event on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 8am to 1pm. During this time period, Copperas Cove residents and business owners will be granted two FREE visits per utility account to the Solid Waste Transfer Station, located at 2605 South FM 116, to dispose of household trash and waste. Participants will be required to show proof of residency prior to dumping.
Items that will be accepted are basic household trash and junk, brush and yard waste, appliances, computers, recycling, and used cooking oil. Used tires will also be accepted, however at a rate of $3 – $7 per tire and they must be off the rim. Construction debris and household hazardous waste will NOT be accepted during this event.
