The 8-hour SAFVIC – Human Trafficking curriculum satisfies the TCOLE mandated training courses Human Trafficking (TCOLE #3270) and Advanced Human Trafficking (TCOLE #3271).

Recognizing the widespread prevalence of human trafficking and the need for law enforcement training to investigate human trafficking, create awareness, and assist victims of this crime, the  SAFVIC Program includes the following topics:

  • Statistics & History of Human Trafficking
  • Dynamics of Foreign and Domestic Human Trafficking
  • Federal and State Laws
  • Understanding Victims & Safety Planning
  • Human Trafficking Investigative Techniques
  • Prosecution of Human Trafficking Cases
  • Resources for Victims of Human Trafficking

FREE to Licensed Texas Peace Officers, prosecutors, and victim service representatives 

Jason Lundquist will be instructing the course and SAFVIC will be reporting TCOLE credit. Upon passing the final exam, students attending the SAFVIC – Human Trafficking course will receive 8-hours of TCOLE credit.
