GATHERING EVIDENCE FROM TODAY’S COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES (VIRTUAL)
Participants will be introduced to the NDCAC and the resources and services offered to its clients. The class includes a tour of the secured NDCAC Law Enforcement Portal, demonstrations of their FREE, downloadable tools, discusses additional classes offered, and concludes with a case demonstration that highlights the functions of its resources.
**This is a virtual class. TCOLE credit will not be given from CTCOG or NDCAC. Depending on your agency, you may be able to submit your training certificate from this class to your agencies training department to submit TCOLE training hours.
Course Objectives:
Overview of the NDCAC’s mission, goals and core responsibilities.
Discuss best practices for working with modern internet communication services.
Highlight FREE tools used for open source research, mapping and analysis of cellular and geolocation data, and making sense of complicated social media returns
