The City of Copperas Cove is looking for someone with the leadership and technical skills that will make them a successful City Planner.

The person hired for this position will be responsible for developing current and long term plans to implement state and federal policies and programs at the local level, submitting grant applications, and participating in local and regional planning groups, among other activities.

Applicants should understand a variety of municipal planning concepts, to include growth management, land use, transportation, economic development, environmental protection and recreation.

Written and verbal communications skills are a must!
