E-Grants 101 is a 3 hour class that provides an overview of the process of preparing and submitting a grant application for any grantee using the Office of the Governor’s (OOG) E-Grants system. This class will provide the basics for writing a grant, as well as go over upcoming grant funding opportunities. Material taught in this class is not limited to the eGrants platform, it will provide a foundation for what is needed in most grant applications.
The goal is to provide an overview of the grants process including what is necessary to submit a grant through OOG’s eGrants system and the process by which the grant is processed.
The E-Grants 101 class is open to anyone who would like to attend.
Audience: city and county staff applying for grants with the Office of the Governor. Also non profits that apply for grants with OOG.
You MUST bring your own laptop, or other device with a web browser, for the class; you’ll connect to the training website via Wi-Fi. Please go to https://egrants.gov.texas.gov/Default.aspx and create an eGrants account prior to the start of class.
