ARIDE bridges the gap between the SFST and DEC/DRE programs, providing officers with general knowledge related to drug impairment and promoting the use of DREs. Officers are trained to observe, identify, and articulate the signs of impairment related to alcohol, drugs, or a combination of both, to reduce the number of impaired driving incidents and serious injury and fatal crashes.
The Texas Drug Recognition Expert Program offers the FREE 16-hour Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement course taught by excellent Texas DRE Instructors from all across the state, experienced in impaired driving enforcement.
March 7th and 8th, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Belton DPS Regional Office 2501 S Loop 121 Belton TX 76513
