Leadership is fundamentally about people, and exceptional leaders continually seek to refine their approach. This course focuses on nurturing our most valuable asset: our people. Research demonstrates that empowered, valued, and invested-in employees are both more productive and happier.

By introducing foundational leadership principles tailored for the public safety sector, this course equips leaders with the tools to foster a positive and effective work environment. Aiming for greatness means becoming an anti-toxic leader who inspires and supports their team.

Instructed By Mathew Johnson: Matt’s instructional skills are well-regarded, having taught at Police Academies, colleges, FBI Field Offices, high schools, and various Police, Fire, and EMS organizations. He is a sought-after consultant for the design and functionality of public safety computer-aided dispatch systems and records management systems. His training has impacted thousands of Law Enforcement Officers, Emergency Medical Technicians, Firefighters, and Telecommunicators. In addition to his public safety career, Matt is a veteran of the United States Air Force and the United States Army. As a Commissioned Officer and rotary-wing aviator with the U.S. Army Reserve, he brings extensive leadership experience and the ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
