Field training officers provide one-on-one learning and mentoring in the real world environment. This course includes basic FTO concepts on instructional techniques, coaching and evaluation, remedial training, and record keeping.

The course is designed to provide training to future Field Training Oàcers in law enforcement, including peace oàcers, jailers, telecommunication operators, correction oàcers, and public service oàcers.

Upon completion, each student will demonstrate the basic knowledge to effectively apply all applications of the training.

Chief Deputy Daniel Aguirre of Belton Police Dept. will be instructing the course and CTCOG will be reporting.
