Caring for a Person at Home – FREE Training Available

Many older and disabled persons cannot remain at home without the support and care received from family and friends. Learn how to care for your loved one by attending our upcoming workshop: Caring for a Person at Home. This workshop is a multi-media presentation combined with some hands-on practical experiences and include 12 hours of instruction on:

  • Infection Control
  • Skin Care
  • Incontinence Management
  • Nutrition
  • Body Mechanics
  • Mobility
  • Caregiver Stress
  • Safety
  • Activities of Daily Living
  • Resources & Reference Materials

Each family will receive:

  • Registration for 2 family members
  • 1 Caregiver manual per family
  • Community resource handouts
  • Certificate of completion

Tuition Information: for a limited time there will be no charge for attending Family Caregiver Workshops.   (The normal tuition fee is $35.00.) There must be a minimum enrollment of FOUR people in order for the class to take place – so bring a friend!!!
