President Barack Obama has proclaimed May 2015 as Older Americans Month calling on Americans of all ages to recognize the contributions of older Americans.  The President also called for a recommitment to show our elders “the fullest, care, support and respect of a grateful Nation” and a celebration of the accomplishments and sacrifices of older Americans.
