Use of Force is one of the most critical issues facing law enforcement professionals today. All too frequently officers are injured or killed while responding to calls, and others while hesitating to act decisively in the face of perceived danger. This life-threatening hesitation is sometimes caused by officers having to stop and think of the fundamentals of force, their options, and the consequences of their actions. This course reviews the critical fundamentals of Use of Force, and what officers need to know and act upon when using various force options. The overall goal of this course is to save lives and prevent injuries.

This class is taught by Jerry Muhamet.  Jerry is a full time law enforcement at his current position of IInvestigator for Milam County District Attorney.  He is a TCOLE certified Master Peace Officer, Mental Health Officer, Basic Instructor and ASP Integrated Weapons System Instructor.
