The City of Gatesville in partnership with the Central Texas Council of Government is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste event on Saturday, March 10 from 8 am to 3 pm at the City of Gatesville Civic Center located at 301 Veterans Memorial Loop. Items being accepted are paints, pesticides/herbicides, household cleaners, acids/chemicals, appliances, batteries, electronics, and tires. Items NOT accepted are fire alarms, smoke detectors, explosives, pressurized containers, medication/prescription drugs, and trash. This event is open to all citizens living in Bell, Coryell, Hamilton, Lampasas, Milam, Mills, and San Saba Counties.
